Two ways. Pro subscriptions are the core. A lock-in fee runs on cash bets $10 and over, charged when the bet is created (3.3% per side on Free, 1.65% per side on Pro). Challenges, predictions, and small bets stay completely free.

Cash bets $10 and over carry a lock-in fee from each side, charged the moment the bet is locked in. Free users pay 3.3% per side. Pro users pay 1.65% per side, a 50% savings. Payment processing (2.9% + $0.30 from Stripe) is passed through transparently. Bets under $10, all challenges, and all predictions are completely free. On Free: a $50 bet costs $1.99 per side. A $100 bet costs $3.60. On Pro: a $50 bet costs $1.13 per side. A $100 bet costs $1.97. The bet stake itself stays between you and your friend.

Patrons voluntarily tip up the lock-in fee to 2.5% (Patron, +1 honor), 3.5% (Patron, +2 honor, monthly credits), or 5% (Hall of Fame Patron, +3 honor, early feature access). It's opt-in on every bet. Cumulative tip-ups in the last 30 days drive a rolling profile badge: $5+ earns Patron, $20+ earns Hall of Fame Patron. Honor bonuses are permanent. Profile badges are 'what have you done lately,' not lifetime.

If they decline or don't lock in before the deadline, the bet expires. We only ever place a hold on your lock-in — we never charge it until both sides are in — so the hold is released in full. You're charged nothing.

Free gets you 3 active bets at a time (1v1s and pools combined) with up to 2 different opponents, the ability to join groups you're invited to, basic honor scoring, standard share cards, and a 3.3% platform fee per side on cash bets over $10. Pro at $4.99 a month (or $39 a year) unlocks unlimited bets, unlimited opponents, a 1.65% platform fee (50% savings), creating up to 7 groups of 15, custom share cards, advanced honor analytics, streak insurance, and priority dispute review. Pro pays for itself at 4 cash bets a month.

Fantasy leagues go live in July 2026 — draft-pick predictions, early takes, weekly punishments, and a season-long points leaderboard. You can bring your crew onto Settled now so your league is ready the moment they switch on. Joining will be free for your whole crew; only the commissioner needs Pro.

Either side can claim the result. The other confirms or disputes. Disputes are visible on your honor record, so it pays to play fair.
